What is a photoelectric protection device?

Time:2023-08-24 Views:

The photoelectric protector is currently the most effective photoelectric protector for protecting the personal safety of stamping machine operators. It has a better protection effect than protective devices such as protective fences, mechanical handles, and mechanical paddles, avoiding safety accidents caused by improper operation or machine failures during the production process. Suitable for ordinary punching machines (our company is equipped with a complete set of modification devices to make ordinary punching machines safer to operate), high-performance punching machines, mechanical presses, hydraulic presses, film presses, shearing machines, industrial robots, packaging equipment, and other automation equipment. It can also be used for protection or anti-theft in multiple areas. Below, as a manufacturer of photoelectric protection devices, I will briefly introduce the composition of photoelectric protection devices to you:

Photoelectric protectors are generally divided into two types: opposed type and reflective type.

The opposite type photoelectric protector refers to the photoelectric protection device in which the emitting unit and receiving unit are respectively located inside the emitting unit and receiving unit, and the light emitted by the emitting unit is directly directed to the receiving unit, forming a protective light curtain. The opposed photoelectric protector consists of five parts: a controller, a light emitting device, a light receiving device, a light emitting transmission line, and a light receiving transmission line, as shown in Figure 1.

Reflective photoelectric protector refers to a photoelectric protection device that protects the light curtain by reflecting the light emitted by the emitting unit and the receiving unit back to the receiving unit through the reflector, both of which are located within the same sensor. A safety protection screen is formed between the two parts of the illuminator and reflector. Whenever the safety protection screen is disturbed or the equipment is not working properly, the light emitting device emits a signal and transmits it to the press control system to prevent possible dangerous movement and stop the danger of the hammer head descending. The reflective photoelectric protector consists of four parts: controller, sensor, reflector, and transmission line.
