The density of the beam determines how large the body part can be detected through the light curtain. According to ergonomic data, the finger diameter of adults should not be less than 14mm, the palm thickness should not be less than 30mm, and the wrist diameter should not be less than 40mm. For example, if the optical axis spacing of the light curtain used is 80mm, the optical axis diameter is 20mm, and its resolution is 80-20=60mm, then fingers, palms, wrists, and arms may not be detected through the light curtain. Therefore, if you want to achieve higher security, you need to use a high-resolution light curtain

When using gratings and light curtains, there are certain requirements for installation, and it is not allowed for personnel to bypass the gratings and light curtains and enter hazardous areas. It is also not allowed to have reflective surfaces near the gratings and light curtains, so that the receiver can receive the reflected light and cannot output safety switch signals. In addition, there are certain requirements for the use environment of gratings and light curtains. If the dust in the environment is too large, it will affect the emission of light, thereby affecting the use of gratings and light curtains.
